I noticed you've just joined, and I wanted to take a moment to say welcome! If you're not familiar with the DA platform, there are two groups I can recommend: APlaceToBegin and DAWelcomeWagon. Both are very good to help you navigate DA.
Since you said you're interested in writing, you might like CRLiterature. It's the lit hub here on DA, though there are a great many groups to choose from if you find it intimidating. I also recommend TheWritersMeow.
Keeping up with the events around DA, and all of the various groups and happenings, can be a bit touch and go, so there are some groups you might like to add to your DevWatch to check out their journals: projecteducate, GO, hq, and DevNews. You're sure to know what's going on around the community by checking out their updates on a regular basis!
